It's been 12 years since the beautiful songstress, Aaliyah passed and her contribution to music is still being celebrated. No, it's not just Drake expressing his sometimes creepy love for her.
Singer, Chris Brown recently revealed that his next single, "They Don't Know" will contain an unreleased Aaliyah sample. Also, singer Sevyn Streeter who's signed to Brown's label CBE was inspired to write a letter thanking Aaliyah after a trip to Aaliyah's former high school.
Along with the letter, she gave r&b lovers an acoustic version of Aaliyah's song, "Come Over" which you can check out in the video below.
