The Lyceum Chapter IV; "Grown Man Style"

I once heard a wise man say;
"To be the best, you must be different".
In a competitive world of men, this quote holds even more weight. When it comes to your style, the visuals. I like to believe that the visuals mean everything, but they mean nothing at all at the same time. Yes, your mind frame and your sense of worth should come from your mentality not your wardrobe. I agree with that, because a man who feels low self-esteem can be the best dressed in a group of boys..Still that same man will feel like a boy, within a group of men. On the other hand a man that comes across as the best, does all he can to look the best. Its all apart of success, because visuals do count. There is no excuse not to look your best at all times. No excuse. You must project that you are the best, only then will you be. Companies spend MILLIONS of dollars on projecting their image as the best. They hire, and sponsor celebrities who project excellence to promote their product for the sole purpose of sales. Do you believe that these billion dollar companies would waste their money, if this didn't work? Of course not. The company who projects excellence the best, and gains the most approval...Is the company that survives and thrives. This is reality. Imagine your visuals as a billion dollar company, then think about how you would market yourself? When I'm in doubt, I think of how the most successful man I know would project his excellence. How would he act, how would he feel? More importantly what how would he dress? Is he wearing jordans everyday, or is he wearing something that is more mature? I believe when you reframe your reality this way, you won't have any competition. Matter of fact, you won't even be worried about competition. Not even having to worry about competition is a sign of an alpha man. So how does a man of worth, express this through his style? Some men have labeled it as "grown man" or "G.Q", but I like to just call it dressing with value. Now when I say "grown man" an image pops into your head, right? Notice how I created that image in your head without even describing it, that is the power of projection. Excellence is something that doesn't need to be described, its something that is felt.
A man who is the best and stylish, is a man who isn't afraid to be different. You will get more compliments by expressing your personality through your style, rather than flexing your wallet with labels. Think about this, the hottest women on the planet know how to dress in a way that compliments their sexuality. They shop, but they usually look for sales. They dress sexy, but usually it’s inexpensive. When they go out to the club/bar they know how to dress in a way that appeal to a man's attraction. When you're aiming at a certain vibe, it doesn't have to be expensive...What matters is how it’s perceived. People may even BELIEVE it’s expensive, if you project it that way. That is the power of a great fashion sense. A great sense of fashion creates something that is more important and that is a fashion statement. What does your fashion statement say about your goals? What is that statement trying to say about you? Women get this concept, and have it down GREATLY...While on the other hand, the average joe when they go out they look like they just left the gym or they just left work. How is that sexy? Women aren't attracted to men who don't work on themselves, and before you even get your foot in the door the way you dress is what they SEE. Before you even open your mouth, your worth is determined by how you come across. That is why the visuals are so important. Why should women find you attractive, If you don't even work on yourself? You need to understand the power of creating an image. Perception is reality. How you market yourself is CRTICAL. Women put ALOT of energy into how they come across, they actually think about these things and put effort into them. Being successful first starts off with a belief. A belief that you have worth, and when its projected the right way that creates momentum that leads to success. Groom the best you can, eat well...It’s not rocket science. When you come across as a man who does his best on his visuals and how he comes across, women will assume that you are a man who has worth and value. When you have a lot going for yourself, and in your mind its worth it to work on your image. In a woman's mind it shows her that you are probably successful with everything. Including women, so she will like you too.
